What is the standard party schedule?
Guests play sports for an hour on the field OR court then spend a half hour in the Party Area.
Is the Party Area a private room?
The Party Area is an open-air table reserved for the participants where they can eat and bounce for 30 minutes. You may purchase additional time at 30 minute increments.
Can I rent extra time?
Yes. Each ½ hour extra costs $80 for either a sports field, court, bounce house or Party Area.
How many sports do they play in the standard 1.5 hour party?
Parties can choose two sports during the one hour on field or court. The bounce house is used during last 30 minutes of the party.
Can I rent two fields?
Two fields/courts can be rented by paying a full party package price for each field. OR, if you would like to play field sports for 1 hour and then add in a court sport (or vice versa), we ask that you book an extra half hour to move onto the 2nd sports surface.
What is the age limit for the bounce house?
12 years old.
Will there be a coach to organize games?
Yes, there is 1 coach per 16 guests for the SportsHouse and MVP Pizza party packages.
Do I need to bring a cake?
Yes, please! We welcome cake, cupcakes, ice cream cakes, or some type of dessert to celebrate your honored guest. Don't forget the candles! We will provide cake cutter, lighter, and paper goods to serve your dessert.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Please bring your cake and candles. All other food or drinks must be purchased from Kicks Sports & Grill. Please refer to their menu for food items. Or, call us at (650) 362-4105. If you have any special requests and we will do our best to help you out!
I am having a SportsHouse (no food or drinks) Party. Can I bring in my own drinks or snacks?
Please honor our policy of no outside food or drinks. All food and beverages, except for your cake, must be purchased through Kicks Sports & Grill.
Do you provide water?
We have a water station next to our Grill. We can provide pitchers of water upon request at the party table during the food/cake portion of your party.
Can I order specialty pizzas or gluten free options?
We offer cheese and/or pepperoni with our party packages If you would like something special, call us at (650) 362-4105 to discuss how we can best meet your request.
Can I bring decorations?
We welcome table top decorations but prefer no confetti, streamers, or balloons. Please drop off your table top decorations at least 30 min prior to the start of your party so we have time to set them up.
I want to bring in my own activity but still have the party at SportsHouse. Can I do this?
Yes, you can book our party packages and bring in your own vendor to provide your special activity (like bubble soccer).
You would need to coordinate timing with your outside vendor. Be sure to ask if there is set up/clean up time needed, as you will need to add that extra time to your party package.
What are the party favors?
We currently give a favor to each paying player: a choice if either blue nylon sports bag that can be worn like a backpack or a SportsHouse water bottle. Customers may pick up favors prior to event and fill them with additional party favor items. You may also upgrade to premium drawstring bags shaped like soccer ball, football, or basketball for an additional charge of $3 per bag.
Can I buy jerseys for the whole party?
Yes. jerseys must be ordered a month in advance to insure arrival by party.
Will the general public be allowed in the bounce house with my party?
Sometimes. The number of kids in the bounce house will be monitored by the party coaches. Party guests will get first priority. However, you could be sharing the bounce house with guests from a different party.
Can I bring celebrity guests?
Can I bring my own coaches?
Party coaches must be SportsHouse-trained. Our coaches go through training, are athletes in high school and college, and are members of our staff, so know our facility's rules. They will host and coach your party.
How many guests am I allowed to bring?
For SportsHouse or MVP packages, the maximum number is 26. However, you can book a 2nd party package at the same time so that you can have a 2nd field or court. That way all of your guests can participate.
There will be younger siblings staying that are unwilling or unable to participate in the sports. Can they go in the bouncehouse?
If you have some players that didn’t show up, resulting in extra wristbands from your party package; the siblings may use the remaining wristbands to go in the bounce house, at no additional charge. If you do not have remaining wristbands, the siblings will have to pay an $8 drop-in fee. Parents MUST supervise children in the bouncehouse, as the coaches in charge of your party will be on the field or court with all participants of the party.
There are a lot of parents staying for my child’s party, will there be reserved seating for them?
You may reserve a place for parents to sit in the grill, adjacent to kids’ table, at no additional cost by having a minimum food order. Call Front Desk for details.
What if I’ve already paid for extra guests and they don’t show?
We will call you 3-5 days before your party to confirm your guest count and collect payment for your extra guests. After that, your count is considered a guarantee and non-refundable. We apologize that we will not be able to refund for extra guests that do not show up, as it will be too late to cancel coaches, food and beverages on the day of your party.
Are sales taxes or tips included in the package prices?
We are required to add 8.75% sales tax to our party items and will do so upon invoicing you for your party. Coach gratuities are always appreciated and can be taken care of at your discretion at the end of your party.
How soon do I need to make my reservation and pay?
All parties must be booked at least 2 weeks in advanced and paid in full to hold a reservation. Number of participants and food/drink choices must be confirmed 5 days prior to party. Our Party Coordinator will call to remind you that we need this information to be sure your party is a success.
What if I have to change the date or time of my party?
We understand that things happen, so if you need to change the date or time, of your party, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to accommodate your needs. Any change made less than 10 days prior to your reservation will result in at $50 administration fee. All changes must be made 24 hours before your reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are allowed for full refund until 10 days prior to the event. Parties cancelled less than 10 days prior to the original date are non-refundable AND will incur a $50 administration fee. The remaining balance will then be credited to your SportsHouse customer account, to be used for a SportsHouse program or event within 1 year. However, NO credit will be granted for any cancellation made less than 24 hours prior to the start of your party.
How do I redeem a donation certificate for a birthday party?
Let us know before booking your party that you have a donation certificate. Please be sure to have the donation certificate readily available, as we need the unique certificate number at the time of booking. Book a party as you normally would. You will be charged in full minus the amount of your donation certificate. We will clear your outstanding balance when you bring in the donation certificate on or before the day of your birthday party at the Front Desk.
How do I book a party?
